Our English black autumn truffles are personally hunted by us, growing wild in the woodlands of a unique and very special family farm at a secret location in Wiltshire.

We use our trained dogs to hunt – Stanley and Freddie, both part of the family – going out two or three times each week during the season, which runs from the end of the summer through to mid winter..

Rumours of our fantastic truffles have been picked up by the national media and over the years we have appeared on BBC1 (Saturday Kitchen and Countryfile), BBC2 (Great British Menu), Sky News, ITV1 (James Martin’s Saturday Morning), Channel 4 and BBC Radio 4 (Farming Today), and in The Sunday Times, Country Life and The Guardian.

As well as hunting as often as we can ourselves, we now also work with trusted friends who hunt for us in Wiltshire and other UK counties. Over recent years we’ve planted new woodlands on our own land, and now also supply trees inoculated with our local truffle spore to other landowners, with a view to increasing the supply of English truffles for future generations.

Although we source and import the finest truffles from all over the world, our biggest passion will always be hunting them right here in Wiltshire – we are never happier than when in the woods with our dogs!
